Season 3 episode 4 of Euphoria introduced a new character named Kitty

If there's one thing Euphoria viewers learned in season 3 episode 4, it's that Kitty likes to dance.
The HBO series' third season has introduced several new characters to the cast, including Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as strip club mogul and crime lord Alamo and Rosalía as a stripper named Magick. Episode 4, titled "Kitty Likes to Dance," brought another new face to the Silver Slipper.
In the episode, Kitty arrives as the replacement for Angel (Priscilla Delgado), the former stripper who Rue (Zendaya) has now learned ran away from rehab and "disappeared." But Kitty's first day on the job is rather dark, as Alamo and his employees negotiate a private — and disturbing — session between the new dancer and a trio of aggressive patrons.
Though episode 4 marks Kitty's Euphoria debut, the actress, Anna Van Patten, is no stranger to the screen.

Euphoria's Kitty is played by Van Patten.
A few days before her Euphoria debut, she spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about preparing for the role.
"I had never been to a strip club in my life," Van Patten said. "But I've always wanted to try pole dancing so when I got the call back, I started taking pole-dancing lessons. I think I kind of manifested the part with those lessons."

She added, "And then, when I heard that I got the part, I was in Budapest, so I went to one club there and tried to ask the girls questions. There was a language barrier, but I got a lot of inspiration."
Who is Anna Van Patten?

Van Patten is a New York-born actress who grew up in a famous family of several other entertainment stars.
Her dad, Timothy Van Patten, is an Emmy-winning director and producer known for episodes of The Sopranos and Game of Thrones. Meanwhile, her older sister, Grace Van Patten, starred as Lucy Albright in Hulu's Tell Me Lies.
She is also the niece of late actor Dick Van Patten, who starred as Tom Bradford on ABC's Eight is Enough.

Van Patten might be new to Euphoria, but the role doesn't mark her small screen debut.
She previously appeared in Hulu's The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox alongside Grace, who both starred in the show and played Van Patten's on-screen older sister. She has also had a recurring role in the Gossip Girl reboot, as well as guest appearances on Law & Order: SVU and FBI: Most Wanted.
As for movies, she appeared in the 2022 horror film Master.
