Blue Bloods was one of the longest-running police procedurals in TV history before CBS announced its cancellation in November 2023.
The show, which premiered in September 2010, followed New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), the head of a multigenerational law enforcement family. Donnie Wahlberg played his detective son Danny, and Bridget Moynahan and Will Estes portrayed Frankâs other two children, prosecutor Erin and police officer Jamie, respectively. Len Cariou starred as family patriarch Henry, and Andrew Terraciano played Dannyâs younger son, Sean.
In December 2024, Blue Bloods ended after 14 seasons with a âproper sendoffâ for longtime viewers. âTheyâre part of the Reagan family. The audience is the extended family,â Wahlberg told PEOPLE in April 2023.
The actor later reprised his role as Danny in the spinoff Boston Blue, which premiered nearly a year after. The show has also featured appearances from several of his former costars, like Moynahan and Cariou. Other cast members, meanwhile, have gone on to pursue new projects, and some have stepped away from acting altogether.
So, where is the Blue Bloods cast now? Hereâs everything to know about what the stars have been up to since the series ended.

Donnie Wahlberg

After playing a detective for New York City Police Department in Blue Bloods, Wahlberg reprised his role for the showâs spinoff with one caveat: his character, Danny, now works for the Boston Police Department.
Boston Blue premiered in October 2025 and follows Danny as he works alongside Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green) while reconnecting with his son, Sean, who is now portrayed by Mika Amonsen.
Wahlberg also serves as an executive producer on the show, and told Parade in June 2025 that preserving the original seriesâ identity was a priority for the spinoff.
âItâs also important to remember where he comes from and what the Blue Bloods legacy is,â he said. âWeâre keeping all of that at the forefront of our thoughts as we build this thing.â
Boston Blue season 2 premiered in October 2026. When the show was renewed earlier that year, Wahlberg called each one of his costars to deliver the news. âEvery cast member got tears in their eyes, every single one of them, and so did I,â he told PEOPLE in March 2026.
Outside of acting, Wahlberg has remained active with his band, New Kids on the Block. The vocal group began its first Las Vegas residency, The Right Stuff, in June 2025 and subsequently extended it with additional shows.
âWeâre very grateful to still be here and weâre rooting for all these young kids that they might know it because itâs better this time,â he told PEOPLE in May 2026.
Wahlberg and his wife, Jenny McCarthy, announced that they were relocating to Sin City in September 2026 following the success of his residency and a desire to be closer to his sons, who live in California. Wahlberg shares Xavier and Elijah with his ex-wife Kimberly Fey, while McCarthy has one son, Evan, from her previous marriage to actor-director John Asher.

Tom Selleck

Selleck, who played Dannyâs father Frank on Blue Bloods, tried to keep the show going before its cancelation â including taking a 25% salary cut along with the rest of the cast.
âIt was very frustrating because Blue Bloods was, out of the top 100 shows on broadcast television, Blue Bloods was No. 6 in our 15th year,â he said on Ted Dansonâs Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast in July 2026. âNobody wanted to leave, everybody was gonna stay on. Thatâs hard to get.â
As for whether Selleck will follow several of his former costars to Boston Blue, the actor has expressed some hesitation. âI think itâs partly my lot in life to make sure Blue Bloods has its place in television history, but I donât think itâs my lot in life to keep playing Frank Reagan,â he told Hour Detroit in November 2025.
Selleck is currently preparing to return to the small screen as a guest star in a new Apple TV series starring Elizabeth Banks, per Deadline.
Off-screen, the actor has been married to his wife, Jillie Mack, for nearly four decades. The couple wed in 1987 and share one child, daughter Hannah, who is an equestrian.

Since the end of Blue Bloods, Moynahan has remained connected to the Reagan family both in front of and behind the camera. Her character, Erin, made two appearances in the first season of Boston Blue, and Moynahan also directed the season 1 episode 8, âIn the Name of the Father, And of the Son.â
Wahlberg later called his costar âone of the unsung heroesâ of Boston Blue during a post-screening Q&A in May 2026. âAs I read Blue Bloods, I got offered the part of Danny Reagan and I couldnât imagine anyone in the world playing my sister besides her,â he said.
Outside of the franchise, Moynahan is a mom to son Jack, whom she shares with Tom Brady. In October 2015, Moynahan married businessman Andrew Frankel.

Will Estes

Since the conclusion of Blue Bloods, Estes has maintained a low profile, but heâs set to return to the showâs universe soon.
Estes will reprise his character Jamie for a guest appearance in season 2 of Boston Blue.
Wahlberg announced the reunion in August 2026 on his Instagram Stories, writing, âWelcome (back) to the family! Jamie Regan! aka Will Estes!â

Len Cariou

Cariou jumped from one television family to another after Blue Bloods. In 2025, the Tony Award-winning actor joined the MGM+ comedy American Classic, which premiered in March 2026.
The series stars Kevin Kline as Richard Bean, a Broadway actor who returns to his hometown after a public meltdown and becomes involved with his familyâs struggling theater. Cariou plays Richardâs father, Linus Bean, the theaterâs co-founder, who has dementia.
During this time, Cariou also reprised his role as Henry in Boston Blue. While filming season 1, he reunited with Wahlberg and met Amonsen, who plays Dannyâs son, Sean.
âIt was great to see Donnie and meet the new great-grandchild,â Cariou told PEOPLE in March 2026 of his time on set.
Cariou and his wife, author and actress Heather Summerhayes, currently reside in New Jersey.

Andrew Terraciano

Terraciano practically grew up on the set of Blue Bloods alongside his real-life brother, Tony Terraciano, who played his on-screen brother, Jack, in the show.
While Tonyâs appearances slowly phased out after his character left for college, Terraciano continued playing Sean through the final season.
Since then, the actor has turned his focus to his education, graduating from New York University in May 2025 with a bachelorâs degree in history, per his LinkedIn. He is currently a graduate student in NYUâs department of Italian studies.
He also made his theater debut in April 2025 in a production of Annie Bakerâs The Antipodes at the schoolâs American Classics Theater.
As for his Blue Bloods character, Sean, the role is now played by Amonsen on Boston Blue. Terraciano found out the role had been recast on the day of his graduation from NYU, per Us Weekly.
âShortly after we got the news, Donnie called me,â Terraciano told the outlet in December 2025. âIt was a really beautiful moment of getting to hear from an old friend but also somebody that you respect so much and have learned so much from.â
âI got the joy of playing Sean, and I got to send him off into the world. Now somebody else gets that joy,â he added.
