The "Kelly Clarkson Show" will look a little different this week.

In honor of Women's History Month, and amid a prolonged absence by the eponymous host, Pink will step in to steer the NBC daytime show. The "So What" singer, 46, kicked off an entire week of hosting March 2, turning out episodes that celebrate "women's achievements, resilience and impact across music, culture and community," according to a release.

Pink kicked off the slate of episodes with a duet alongside her daughter Willow, 14. The pair sang "Hopeless War" from The Outsiders for the show's signature "Kellyoke" story. Willow also took a backstage tour of the Broadway musical "Ragtime!" in another segment.

"The only thing that bums me out about Pink hosting a week of 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' is that I'm not going to be able to be there to watch her," Clarkson said in the press release. "I have been a fan for so long and have always been inspired by her music and her person. I love her."

Pink and Kelly Clarkson perform onstage during the 2017 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on Nov. 19, 2017, in Los Angeles.

Pink expressed a similar excitement about the gig, writing in the release: "I've played stadiums and danced on the side of buildings, but stepping in to guest host for my girl Kelly Clarkson is a brand new feat. Let's celebrate women, joy, resilience and whatever comes else comes our way."

Earlier this month, Clarkson, a onetime "American Idol" winner and popular recording artist, announced she would end her NBC talk show after seven seasons. She has been frequently absent from the Emmy-winning series in recent months following the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, with whom she shares two children.

"This was not an easy decision — but this season will be my last," Clarkson wrote in an Instagram post at the time. "Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this chapter of our lives."

Since Kelly Clarkson earned the title of the first "American Idol" winner in 2002, the pop star's career has flourished, making it impossible for fans to "Breakaway." Look back on her path to stardom, beginning here at the 66th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 4, 2024.

Blackstock died at 48 years old in August following a three-year battle with skin cancer. They shared River Rose, 11, and Remy Alexander, 9.

Beloved for "Kellyoke" segments and at times emotional sit-downs with celebrities and "everyday heroes," "The Kelly Clarkson Show" first aired in September 2019 and aimed to "spotlight the best of humanity," per NBCUniversal's Feb. 2 release.
