The Fire Country crew braves their lives, even when that heroism risks their families’ well-being.
Off-screen, the actors on the CBS action drama don’t experience nearly as much heat in their parenting duties — at least not the literally fiery kind.
Fire Country, which premiered its fifth season in October 2026, follows Bode Leone (a.k.a. Bode Donovan, played by Max Thieriot), a young convict who must face his past after returning to his hometown of Edgewater, Calif., and volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program to shorten his prison sentence.
In real life, Thieriot is a father of two young sons with his wife Lexi Murphy.
Bode’s father Vince Leone, played by Billy Burke, died during season 4’s shocking premiere after being unable to escape a burning memory care unit.
Despite his on-screen demise, Burke, who shares daughter Bluesy LaRue with ex-wife Pollyanna Rose, has learned a lot about parenting from his character, admitting that Vince’s most “noble characteristics” are the ones “I probably personally might struggle with.”
“He’s got that sort of innate, undying protector guy in him, which I didn’t grow up with and now have only really developed as a father,” he told Nerds & Beyond in October 2024.

Max Thieriot’s 2 Sons

Thieriot, who plays a former inmate turned firefighter, and Murphy have two children: sons Beaux and Maximus.
After meeting as teenagers in 2005 on separate family vacations in the Caribbean, Thieriot and Murphy got engaged in 2012 at the same place where they first met and wed in June 2013. Beaux was born in December 2015, followed by Maximus in January 2018.
Before Maximus was born, Thieriot expressed excitement at the prospect of their growing family, writing on Instagram in January 2018, “So much to be thankful for and look forward to this year but these 2 (soon to be 3) are at the top of that list for me.”
Over the years, Thieriot has shared plenty of memories with his sons, including bringing his older son Beaux to the set of Fire Country in October 2022, a moment he called “pretty special” on Instagram.
Kevin Alejandro’s Son

Kevin Alejandro, who portrays Battalion Chief Manny Perez, shares one child with his wife, filmmaker Leslie de Jesus Alejandro.
The couple married in May 2004 and welcomed son Kaden in February 2008.
Over the years, Kevin and Leslie have shared glimpses of their son on social media, including a sweet family photo on Instagram in December 2024 featuring the family of three and their dog Romeo. One month earlier, they celebrated a major milestone when Kaden earned his driver’s license.
Kaden has already followed in his parents’ Hollywood footsteps. He starred in The Talk, a short his father wrote and directed that was selected for several film festivals in 2019, and worked on his mother’s 2025 short film Parachutes. (Leslie has also directed two episodes of Fire Country.)
In January 2020, Kevin posted a photo on Facebook of Kaden on set with Nathan Fillion in what the proud dad called his son’s “first network television acting gig” on a season 2 episode of The Rookie, noting: “I couldn’t [be] more proud and happy that his first experience was with wonderful people.”
Since then, Kaden has appeared on episodes of 9-1-1: Lone Star, Bel-Air and Life by Ella.

Diane Farr’s 3 Children

On Fire Country, Diane Farr portrays Bode’s mother and Vince’s widow, Sharon Leone.
In real life, Farr and her ex-husband, marketing executive Seung Yong Chung, share three children: son Beckett Mancuso and daughters Sawyer Lucia and Coco Trinity.
The former couple welcomed Beckett in March 2007. Less than two years later, twins Sawyer and Coco arrived in August 2008.
Beckett graduated from high school in June 2025, with his mom calling the moment a “big day for my big guy” on Instagram.
Sawyer and Coco, who are still in high school, spent a term studying abroad in 2025. In May 2025, Farr said on Instagram that she “couldn’t be prouder” of the twins, adding, “I’m literally amazed by you.” She later proudly posted on social media about their junior prom in April 2026.
The Rescue Me alum reflected on life with her kids as they “move into early adulthood” in an Instagram slideshow in June 2025, in which she reflected on raising money for March of Dimes while National Guard troops were deployed in L.A.
“I had my three almost all at once — there are only sixteen months between my son and his identical sisters — and I wonder if I did enough emotionally,” Farr wrote in part. “As I tried to survive the tsunami of need with three infants, three toddlers, three humans I wanted to show the world so that they might be a cause for good in it.”
Billy Burke’s Daughter

Burke portrayed Vince Leone until his character was killed off at the end of season 3. During his marriage to Rose, they welcomed daughter Bluesy in July 2008.
Rose has shared photos and videos of Bluesy on social media over the years, tracking her daughter’s hobbies and milestones. In June 2021, she posted on Instagram that Bluesy had completed five years of learning French.
Bluesy has also celebrated her big moments on Instagram, including photos from her senior prom in June 2026.
Following in her parents’ acting footsteps, Bluesy appeared in the films Booksmart (2019) and Stone Cold Fox (2025) and has starred on General Hospital since 2025.
Tye White’s 2 Daughters

Tye White joined season 2 of Fire Country as Cole Rodman and exited as a main cast member after the season 3 finale. Off-screen, he married wife Rania Nasreen White in June 2018.
The Whites welcomed their first child together, daughter Inaayah Nnalesi, in February 2021.
At the time of her birth, Tye explained the meaning behind his daughter’s name in a since-deleted Instagram post, saying that Inaayah means “Gift from God” in Arabic and Nnalesi means “A long and beautiful journey” in Nigerian.
The couple welcomed their second child together, daughter Asaanah Nnasia, in August 2023.
Carlo Fortin’s Daughter

Carlo Fortin, a recurring cast member through season 4, portrayed Ames on the series. He and his wife, Florina Fortin, welcomed their first child together, daughter Stella Maeve, in July 2021.
Over the years, Carlo has shared photos and videos of Stella on social media, including highlights from their family trip to Hawaii in November 2022, time at the aquarium in Coquitlam, British Columbia, in November 2023 and a vacation in Mexico in October 2024.
