The *Mean Girls* star, who voiced Eliza Thornberry on the beloved Nickelodeon cartoon *The Wild Thornberrys*, shared a tribute following the death of the *Clue* star, who portrayed her character’s dad, Nigel Thornberry.

“I’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories of working with Tim,” she wrote (via Buzzfeed). “It was such a joy to watch him create a character.”

She added, “He was always so incredibly kind to me and encouraging. He will be so very missed.”

Danielle Harris, who voiced Nigel’s other daughter Debbie on the show, also shared a post memorializing Curry after his death.

“How lucky I felt to share the stage with him for 7 years,” Harris wrote. “I recorded with Tim more than anyone on the cast and my face would literally hurt from laughing leaving the recording studio. I would get so excited when I’d pull into work and see his car in the parking lot.”

She added, “[Tim’s] uncanny humor and naughty wit was like no other and I just absolutely adored him. Tim has undoubtedly left a mark on all of our lives forever. He will be missed❤️.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, who voiced the gibberish-speaking feral child Donnie on the series, shared his own tribute to the actor on Instagram, emphasizing his affection for Curry’s turn as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in *The Rocky Horror Picture Show*.

“I was a kid who dressed in mom’s makeup and [lamé] dress and went to see* Rocky Horror *at the Tiffany theater on Sunset. I loved Tim Curry,” he wrote. “We worked together later for a few years on The Wild Thornberries [sic] and I was excited to hang out with him and cut up, the sincere and funny voices. He was kind, smart and funny as hell. God bless him; beautiful and cosmic journeys to you Tim.”

*The Wild Thornberrys* ran for 91 episodes across five seasons on Nickelodeon between 1998 and 2004. The series also spawned a theatrical film, *The Wild Thornberrys Movie*, in 2002, as well as the crossover sequel *Rugrats Go Wild* in 2003.

Curry died at 80 on Wednesday. He released a memoir, *Vagabond*, in 2025, in which he reflected fondly on voicing Nigel.

“I felt so privileged to pour so much of myself into the esteemed Sir Nigel Thornberry. The character was a different kind of challenge, and so delightful; of all the voice roles I’ve taken on, this was one of the ones that meant the most to me,” he wrote (per PEOPLE). “I love that Nigel is so oddly naive, and he takes fatherhood so seriously and amusingly and rather sweetly. He adores his children and truly wants to be the best he can be for them, sort of like a Steve Irwin figure. I also felt deeply connected to him through our mutual love of nature and preservation, even if he was tackling the wild and I was primarily tackling weeds in my garden at home.”

Curry also praised Chabert, Harris, and Flea, as well as Jodi Carlisle, who voiced Nigel’s wife Marianne. “I wouldn’t go so far as to say that we were like a real family, but we really did get along like gangbusters whenever we were in a room together,” he wrote.
