Kathie Lee Gifford has opened up about her late husband Frank's cheating scandal.

Gifford also spoke about whether or not she ever wants to get married again following his 2015 death.

The 72-year-old said "there's not a day that goes by" that another person doesn't credit her with saving their marriage.

Though it caused her emotional turmoil at the time, Kathie Lee Gifford said her fans have found strength in her resilience amid her late husband Frank Gifford's infidelity scandal.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly's sister publication, PEOPLE, the 72-year-old reflected on her spouse cheating on her years before his 2015 death at age 84, and revealed whether or not she ever wants to marry again.

"I am not dating anybody right now, and I don't want to date," Gifford said. "I'm not looking, and I don't think I'll ever get married again."

She said she "had an opportunity for that to maybe happen," but it "didn't work out" in the end, she recalled.

"Frank will always be the love of my life. If God wants to do something miraculous, like give me another great love [then I'm open to it]. And so I leave room for the miraculous to happen," Gifford said.

Gifford previously weathered a shocking 1997 scandal that saw a tabloid reveal that her husband was unfaithful to her, telling PEOPLE that she "came home a week after that happened" to reconcile with her partner.

"There's not a day that goes by that somebody doesn't come up to me and say, 'I just want you to know I had separated from my husband, and I went back. We went for counseling. We healed our marriage,'" Gifford claimed.

Frank died on Aug. 9, 2015, with Gifford recalling to the publication that she found him on the floor after a massive heart attack.

"The EMT guys came, and they said, 'Mrs. Gifford, we just want you to know your husband, he never suffered. He never saw the ground he fell on,'" recalled the daytime TV icon.

She added that, though Frank "was one week shy of his 85th birthday," he was "ready to go" in the end.

After his death, Gifford said that a posthumous scan revealed that the former football player also had a notable condition, CTE, that often shows up in athletes who've endured numerous hits to the head.

"We donated his brain to science to be studied for CTE, which my son is very, very involved with now," Gifford said. "A lot of people have brain trauma all over the world, not just football players."
