Jason Aldean has been warned that his support for Donald Trump could prove fatal for his career.

The 49-year-old singer shares a close personal friendship and a long-standing political alliance with the 80-year-old president.

On Saturday, October 24, the musician and his wife, Brittany Aldean, greeted Trump on the tarmac at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

Trump summarized his thoughts on the country singer in one word, "Fantastic." Later that evening, Aldean officially introduced Trump to the stage at a midterm campaign rally in Perry, Georgia.

The president's assistant, 31-year-old Margo Martin, shared a clip on X showing Aldean taking to the stage and throwing some MAGA hats to the crowd, with the caption, "@Jason_Aldean takes the stage in Perry, GA."

However, in the comment section of the post, many people warned the singer that his support for the president could lead to the end of his musical career.

"Nice way to totally f--k up your career," one tweeted. "Jason Aldean, Ted Nugent, Roseanne Barre and Chatchki are now D listers."

Another said, "Well, that is the end of that career..." A third shared, "I'm not a fan of anyone who stands with Trump."

Someone else added, "One cheater to another not surprised."

Following the start of Trump's presidential term, Aldean, his wife, and members of his band visited the president in the Oval Office to show their continued support and discuss the current landscape of the music industry.

The musician has also noted he has Trump's personal phone number, and they often call or text each other.

Their friendship dates back to at least late 2021, when Aldean performed a New Year's Eve show at Mar-a-Lago and the pair went golfing together.

Aldean has been a staple at major political milestones for Trump, including performing at his Liberty Inaugural Ball and sitting next to him in the exclusive friends and family box at the Republican National Convention.

In July 2024, following the assassination attempt against Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, Aldean publicly dedicated his controversial hit song, "Try That in a Small Town," to Trump during a live concert performance.

It comes as Kid Rock faced criticism on social media after saying that his support for Trump has led to him losing out on corporate deals and TV appearances.

The 55-year-old musician, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, said he no longer gets invited to major events such as the NFL or to late-night shows since he started backing the Republican leader publicly.

However, he said he doesn't regret his choice because he wants to feel free to speak his mind.

Rock told Fox News Digital, "My relationship with Trump, yeah, that canceled all the, any corporate deals coming my way.

"I don't really get invited to be part of, you know, things like the NFL or things like that ... all the shows that I was so friendly with over the years, from all the late-night talk shows to my friend Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon, I don't really get invited on there anymore."

He continued, "But who's to say that won't change ... and honestly, I don't care. I did think about this when I entered the political arena, because I thought it was important for me to speak up for what I believe.

"Because, you know, I put my country before pretty much everything except my family and God. So, yeah. There's been things like that, but that's no sweat off my back."

Rock added in the interview that while he feels "thankful for all the opportunities that got me to where I am today," he believes he is now putting out a message that is "so much more important than any of that."
