- It's official: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have tied the knot.

- A billboard outside of Madison Square Garden confirmed they said "I do" on Friday.

- Celebrity guests, including Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Hugh Grant, and more have been spotted at the venue.

And to think it all started with a friendship bracelet and a podcast!

It's happened: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have tied the knot.

On Friday, the 14-time Grammy winner and former Super Bowl champ brought their love story to its natural conclusion with a storybook wedding ceremony. A billboard outside of Madison Square Garden that reads "JUST&T MARRIED!" confirmed the nuptials around 7:30 ET.

The couple also released a statement to PEOPLE with additional details.

"The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry," the statement reads.

The pair "did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen."

"Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler," the statement concluded.

The latest chapter of their love story comes after Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on Aug. 26, 2025. They kept the garden proposal under wraps for two weeks before unveiling the happy news with a photo and a post that read, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

The couple famously started seeing each other after Kelce revealed on his *New Heights* podcast in July 2023 that he had tried — and failed — to connect with Swift at her Eras Tour show in Kansas City via a friendship bracelet he made with his phone number on it. Although they didn't cross paths that night, the football player (and squirrel whisperer) later invited her to see him "rock the stage at Arrowhead [Stadium]."

His podcast comments didn't go unnoticed, because that very same cruel summer, Swift was seen cheering him on alongside his mother, Donna, at a Chiefs game on Sept. 24. From there, rumors emerged that the duo were dating and their romance began stealing the spotlight at several NFL games that followed.

Swift later revealed that they were already "a couple" when she attended her first Chiefs game, noting, "We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."

She added, "We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for because we got to get to know each other."

During a June 2024 visit to the *Bussin' With The Boys** *podcast, Kelce said he was immediately won over by Swift.

"She's very self-aware. I think that's why I really started to really fall for her, was how genuine she is around friends [and] family," he said. "It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she just keeps it so chill and so cool."

Reflecting on the whirlwind beginning of their relationship in an August 2025 interview, Kelce added, "Whenever I'm with her, it feels like we're just regular people. When there is not a camera on us, we're just two people that are in love... It happened very organically even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked."

In addition to Swift attending his games, Kelce became a regular guest during her never-ending Eras Tour, even getting in on the action and appearing on stage to perform as one of the singer's dancers. Their romance was also immortalized through her music; rumor has it that songs like "The Alchemy" and "So High School" off of *The Tortured Poets Department* and "Wood" and "The Fate of Ophelia" from *The Life of a Showgirl* are inspired by Kelce.
