The Philadelphia Eagles put an emphasis on adding more offensive weapons this offseason — primarily through the 2026 NFL Draft. The Eagles used the first five picks of the draft on offensive players, most notably WR Makai Lemon and TE Eli Stowers.

The team is expected to move on from WR A.J. Brown at some point after June 1, trading the disgruntled wide receiver. But even if/when that deal goes down, Philly still has a crowded receiving room with DeVonta Smith, Lemon, Dallas Goedert and Stowers, not to mention star RB, Saquon Barkley.

Matt Harmon and Justin Boone were posed the question: who are the most irreplaceable and most replaceable pieces in the passing game? The two analysts broke it down on a recent episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Forecast.

Harmon doesn’t view the room as crowded at all and Boone isn’t concerned about the Eagles going into the 2026 NFL season. Lemon and Stowers were a “nice injection of youth” while the rookie wideout should have a chip on his shoulder.

In terms of who is the most irreplaceable, it’s WR DeVonta Smith, per Boone. Smith will become the No. 1 wideout upon the departure of Brown and should be a target in redraft and someone to acquire via trade in dynasty fantasy football formats.

Boone views Goedert as the one who is replaceable to some extent. It looked like he’d have a clear path to being the No. 2 option in the passing game and then the Eagles decided to add Lemon and Stowers to the mix. Goedert had 11 touchdowns last season to go with 60 catches for 591 yards. After the draft, Boone has Goedert moving down into the TE2 range after being a TE1 in 2025.

But again, Boone isn’t panicking at all when it comes to Philly’s offensive options for fantasy going into 2026. Barkley is more of a reassessment that he isn’t the No. 1 back we saw a few seasons ago. He should be viewed as a low-end RB1 and high-end RB2, per Boone.
