Christine Quinn says she loves both Los Angeles and Texas in a new Instagram video

The reality star is returning to Selling Sunset for season 10 after leaving the series in 2022

She credits her move to Texas for her son's transformation from being nonverbal to outgoing and talkative

Christine Quinn has love for both La La Land and the Lone Star State.

The Selling Sunset star, 37, who lives between Los Angeles and Texas, compared the two in a "Conversations with Christine" Instagram video posted Thursday, June 25. When asked if she prefers Los Angeles or Texas, the real estate agent was split.

"I love LA for the scene. I absolutely love to come here and cause a ruckus," said Quinn. "But then, I love Texas for the people. I love to go back and sit on my acre of land and have my house and have my dogs, so it's just very different, but I love both in their own way."

"It's my like my lovers, like which lover I like best, I can't say that, obviously. They'll get jealous of each other," she continued.

In April, Netflix confirmed that Quinn, along with former cast member Heather Rae El Moussa, would return to Selling Sunset for its upcoming 10th season. Quinn left the show after season 5 in 2022. In a press release, Quinn said she'd be returning to the show “from a very different place, with more perspective, confidence, and clarity,”

Often painted as the villain of the series, Quinn says motherhood has changed her.

“I'm still ambitious and direct, but I think people will see a version of me that's more centered and even more sure of herself,” she added. “I'm not coming back to play an old version of myself. I'm coming back to show where I am now and let the audience see that growth can still come with an edge.”

“I am really, really grateful to be living here,” Quinn told PEOPLE from her home near Dallas. "I have a sister who lives really close to me, and my son has a cousin. So it's really something that I needed as opposed to the chaos when I was in Los Angeles.”

At the time, Quinn said her son, Christian Georges, was adjusting well to their new life in Texas. “He's absolutely loving it.”

Before their move, the reality star revealed she was “really worried” about Christian, 4, whom she says used to be "nonverbal." She said he became a "complete chatterbox" after relocating.

“It's just so crazy since I moved to Texas. I mean, he was literally a nonverbal child at 3 years old, which is pretty rare,” she told PEOPLE. “He went from that to being immediately enrolled in school, having other kids around him, being so talkative, being so extroverted.”

Earlier this month, Quinn teased her return to Selling Sunset in an interview with TMZ outside of the Oppenheim Group offices in Los Angeles. When asked what made now the right time to return to the show, she told the outlet, "the trash needed to be taken out."
