Billie Eilish took on an important role in her brother Finneas O’Connell’s wedding.
O’Connell, 29, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski, in Montecito, Calif., on Saturday, Aug. 29. The groom’s sister, 24, performed the ceremony as the officiant. Eilish wore a sage green off-the-shoulder dress with draping at the waist for the occasion.
In photos of the outdoor nuptials, Eilish can be seen smiling as she officially married the couple in front of their loved ones, including a number of celebrity friends, among them Justin and Hailey Bieber, Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard and Jason Sudeikis.

Sulewski — a host and an actress, as well as the founder of CYKLAR Skincare — wore four different Oscar de la Renta bridal looks over the course of her and O’Connell’s wedding weekend, according to Vogue. Her ceremony dress was an ivory silk faille ball gown featuring a drop-waist bodice and a structured, pleated skirt, topped off with an asymmetric, draped and pleated scarf neckpiece that flowed down the entire length of the dress’ train.
Sulewski, 30, FaceTimed with her now-sister-in-law, Eilish, during her final fitting at Oscar de la Renta’s Beverly Hills boutique to give the 10-time Grammy winner a glimpse of the dress.
Her response? “My God, I can’t believe it,” Eilish exclaimed, per Vogue. “You look like an angel. Love you so much!”
O’Connell and Sulewski announced their engagement last September after seven years of dating. They shared photos of the romantic proposal on Instagram alongside the caption, “forever and ever 9.22.”

It’s no surprise that Eilish stepped up to oversee her brother’s wedding, considering their famously close bond. O’Connell has been by the “Birds of a Feather” singer’s side both personally and professionally her entire life. He has served as co-writer and producer for all of her award-winning musical projects.
Over the years, Eilish has been candid about her love for her brother and her appreciation for his steadfast support of her career. While being honored with Variety’s Hitmaker of the Year award in 2019, she called O’Connell her “best friend.”
“He’s four years older than me, and we’ve been best friends kind of forever,” she said. “We started writing music together when I was 13 and he was 18 or 17, and he produces everything. He’s the only reason I’m anywhere in the whole world. He’s probably the only reason I’m alive.”

O’Connell joined Eilish onstage as she accepted her award and said he “couldn’t be more proud of every song” the two have made together.
“There’s a lot of bulls--- articles about me now, about how I’m ‘not just Billie Eilish’s brother’ — and just being Billie Eilish’s brother is all I ever want to be,” he continued, adding, “I love Billie more than anybody else, and I’m so grateful to you. I love you.”
Last year, during an appearance on the Will & Woody show, Eilish spoke about how O’Connell is “the one person” in her life she feels she can truly confide in.
“Finneas is kind of the one person that I feel like I can say absolutely anything to and I don’t feel scared. If anything, I think when I do feel scared to tell him the truth, it’s more just that I don’t want him to worry about me or think I’m lame,” she shared.
“But he doesn’t — ever,” she continued. “The times when I’ve been too scared to tell him something, when I do tell him, I always am like, ‘Oh, why was I worried? It’s just Finneas, and he loves me so much, and he’ll always love me.’ It’s so amazing to have somebody like that.”
